Take 47 - Sept 1999
Every year, AV Video and Multimedia Magazine
selects the Top 100 Audio/Visual Producers in the nation.
This year, Greg Coon, owner of Eyecon Video Productions from
Dallas was given the huge honor of being chosen as one of
these 100.
"The Top 100 was launched as a way to recognize
and honor those producers whose notable achievements have
made their colleagues stand up and take notice. Selected from
hundreds of nominations, these talented, hardworking and creative
individuals come from many different walks of life, but share
one thing - a never ending quest for excellence and a tremendous
passion for their work. It is the dedication of producers
like these that has shaped and grown this industry, making
it the exciting work place it is today," said AV Video
Magazine in their November 1998 issue.
"To be selected to stand with the best
of the best is an incredible honor", said Greg Coon.
Eyecon's owner also describes why he thinks he was chosen:
" I think it was mostly because of the way we've grown
our business, how we've been able to maintain a satisfied
client base, and our work with charity.
The main thing that keeps Eyecon Video apart
from the rest is the attention to customer service. Eyecon
Video is set up to be able to handle customer requests with
short notice.
"The key," according to Greg Coon,
"is to treat your customers as you would like to be treated
yourself. Be nice, respectful, and give the customer more
than they expect."
