Eyecon Video Productions in Dallas has been
hired by Mesquite Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center
to produce a video to promote their Laser Resurfacing techniques.
The patients were videotaped before their surgery showing
different degrees of facial wrinkling and scarring. Then the
actual Laser Resurfacing surgery was videotaped. Approximately
6 weeks after surgery, all the patients returned to the office
to show off their "new look". Eyecon Video Productions
shot all the patients talking about how the surgery has effected
their lives and improved their self-image.

Eyecon Video Productions produces a marketing
video to help QuickCARE gain market share in the long-term
health care industry. QuickCARE, of Addison, Texas enlisted
Eyecon's expertise to write, shoot, edit, and duplicate a
marketing video that is being sent to long-term caretakers
throughout the country.
Eyecon Video Productions hired Tracy Ready to
handle the scriptwriting duties and camera work. Greg Coon,
owner of Eyecon Video, and Tracy Ready captured the computer
screen shots at QuickCARE's offices in Addison, Texas. The
duo then traveled to Rockwall, Texas to shoot at LakePointe
Care Center. They then flew to San Antonio on the company's
private plane to videotape at the Air Force Retirement Village.
Back in Dallas, Scott Miller recorded the voice-over
track at Eyecon's studio. Staff editor, David Henson then
took all the pieces of the video puzzle and created a seven
minute, fast moving finished video on Eyecon's digital on-line,
non-linear editor, the Media 100.
QuickCARE manufactures a software program that
tracks records for long-term health care patients in nursing
homes and closed campus retirement communities. The clinical
portion of the software keeps track of patients' data, including
scheduling and medication doses, among others. If the clinical
software portion is used in conjunction with the financial
portion, an entry which is made in one part of the program,
automatically updates all other applicable files of the patient's
database. This elimination of data entry can save a caretaker
thousands of dollars in labor costs.
