Every year, Kidd Kraddick of Dallas'
KISS-FM Radio (KHKS 106.1) asks listeners to donate money
so chronically ill children and their families can travel
to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. These families would
financially never be able to afford to go to Disney World
without the help of the charity.
This year, as they did last year,
Greg Coon, owner of Eyecon Video Productions in Dallas, and
his wife, Julie, flew to Orlando with the kids and their families
to document the trip.
The video shows the kids on the
flight to Orlando, the first time on an airplane for most.
The video then follows Kidd and the kids as they experience
the Magic Kingdom for the first time.
The majority of the 10-minute video
will be the "sights and sounds" of the kids in the
Magic Kingdom set to Disney music.

Turning the tables seemed fair enough to me;
so when the A&E (Arts and Entertainment) Network came
out to interview us, and after being on the spot for an hour,
I gave myself a D-minus as an interviewee but the Park Cities
an A+ on charity fund raising, devotion to their children
and civic pride and concern.
The four young people who came were ever so
professional and knowledgeable and charmed us, so I gave them
an A+ also. How they ever got together is a puzzler - Dave
Huntley, the cameraman, is from Rochester, N.Y., associate
producer Deborah Dawkins lives in Knoxville, Tenn., the audio
technician, Tracy Ready, is from Dallas, and homeboy and Highland
Park High School 1985 graduate Greg Coon was the associate
producer.
A few others who were interviewed by the crew
were author AW Gray, Ebby Halliday and Judge John Marshall.
The crew spent a number of days doing background shots of
the area and think that the segment will air in early April
as part of a continuing series entitled "City Confidential"
