November 1998
Every year Kidd Kraddick of Dallas' KISS-FM
Radio Station (KHKS 106.1) asks listeners to donate money
to the Kidd's Kids charity so chronically ill children and
their families can travel to Walt Disney World and Universal
Studios in Orlando to experience the trip of a lifetime. Without
the help of this program, the families wouldn't be able to
afford such vacation.
When Kidd's Kids and their families made the
trip in November, Greg Coon, owner of Eyecon Video Productions,
and wife Julie flew to Orlando with the group and documented
the dream-come-true journey on video. Free copies of the award-winning
program are now available at all Blockbuster Videos in the
Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex to show those who donated the
joy their generosity gave to the kids and their families.
The video is also available for purchase with all proceeds
going to Kidd's Kids.
The touching and inspiring 25-minute video shows
the kids on the flight to Orlando, the first time on an airplane
for most of these children. The video then follow the group
as they experience the Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios
for the first time. The smiles on the kids' faces tell the
whole story.

Coon shot the video on the new digital
format with Panasonic's EZ-1 video camera. He and Eyecon
Video editor David Henson, edited the project using Coon's
Media 100. |

Coon donated his time and equipment to produce
the video because as he puts it, "It's important to give
back to the community." As a bonus, the video has already
won a number of national awards.
