Gregory P. Coon, North Texas '89<, opened his own video production company in Dallas, Texas called Eyecon Video Productions. In addition to running his business, Coon does assignments for CNN and NBC News and covers national events such as the Waco, Texas crisis involving the Branch Davidian standoff.

Greg Coon, North Texas '89, recently donated his time and work to Kidd's Kids, a charity in Dallas, Texas, that takes chronically ill children and their families on a trip to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Coon, owner of Eyecon Video Productions, documented the trip. The 25-minute video has already won two national awards: the Videographer Award and an Aegis Award.
